Working with Objects

Note: Monochrome printers include the ProImage® Plus, ProImage®
XL, PosterPrinter™ 2000P, ProImage
®
Plus 3000, and
ProImage® XL 3000 PosterPrinters™, plus your laser or inkjet
printer.
On some posters or banners, you may want to print objects in reverse
foreground and background colors. An easy way to do this for text
objects is to use the Reverse feature, as described in Reversing Text
Colors on page 6-8.
For other types of objects, such as TextArt, Text on a Circle, and line art
(including HotShapes) you can achieve this effect by setting the object to
print in the foreground color (black) or background color (white).
To change an object’s foreground/background color
1. Select the object.
2. Select Color from the Object menu. The Object Color dialog box
appears.
3. Select a color and click OK.
Hint! If you set the object color to the same as the background color,
when you click OK the object won’t be displayed (because it is
white). To see the object, draw a rectangle over the object, fill it
with a solid pattern, and move the rectangle to the back. The
object will show through the solid pattern, as demonstrated in
the following example:
