Creating Specialty Output Using
Templates
This section describes how to create output using a pre-made template.
Templates are like wizards that help guide you through creating your
specialty output. They prompt you for the necessary text and graphic
information. These objects are then automatically positioned and sized
in the output.
You can make the specialty output of your choice in just three easy
steps. First, select the template you want to use, enter the prompted
information, and then print your specialty output.
The Create New Document dialog box may contain the following types of
template categories, based on the installed printer:
Monochrome PosterPrinter™ Systems—If you’ve installed
templates for a monochrome PosterPrinter™, the Create New
Document dialog box lists Monochrome template categories.
Monochrome templates are designed to work with all monochrome
printers. All templates used with monochrome printers display on
the screen in greyscale. The color of the paper loaded in your
PosterPrinter™ System determines the print color.
Note: Monochrome printers include the ProImage® Plus, ProImage®
XL, PosterPrinter™ 2000P, ProImage® Plus 3000, and
ProImage® XL 3000 PosterPrinters™, plus your laser or inkjet
printer. Note that if you want to print to a laser or inkjet
printer, you need to select that printer when you choose a
document type.
Sports Allows you to create awards, bumper stickers, and more
to show team spirit and athletic event support.
Teaching Tools Allows you to create class project instructions, Pledge of
Allegiance posters, Big Books, character education
labels, science titles, reference labels, counting stickers,
and more.
