Previewing Outputs
You can display your output as it will actually print, including any
supply saver printing or tiling situations, using the Print Preview
option. For more information on supply saver and tile printing, see
Using Supply Saver in the VisiMate System on page 13-15 and
Tiling Print Jobs on page 13-16.
When using a VisiMate™ Specialty Printing System, the Print Preview
function always shows the background color and media size of the
currently-installed supply. This visually helps remind you how your
output will actually print on the current supply. If no supply is installed,
or if your printer is not communicating properly, the system uses the
printer driver’s default settings.
If you are using a PosterPrinter™ System, the background color is
always displayed in white.
To preview outputs
1. With an output open, select Print Preview from the File menu. An
image of the current output appears in the Preview window.
2. Do any of the following:
Button Description
Print Prints the output.
Prev Page Allows you to view the previous output in a multiple
output print job.
Next Page Allows you to view the next output in a multiple
output print job.
Zoom In Select repeatedly to increases the magnification of
the displayed output.
Zoom Out Select repeatedly to decreases the magnification of
the displayed output.
Close Closes the Preview window and return to the normal
application window.
