Installing Application Components

To move saved files from a previous version of GalaRio
If you have an earlier version of the GalaRio™ application and would
like to retain files from that version, this procedure will instruct you on
where to move your files, so you can use them in the latest version of the
GalaRio™ application.
Hint! You need to complete this task before saving files from the
GalaRio™ 2 application, or the files from the previous version
will replace the files you saved from the GalaRio™ 2 application
when you move them.
1. Open Windows Explorer.
2. Navigate to your VSI folder in the Program Files directory.
3. Open the GalaRio folder.
4. Click and drag the Documents folder into the GalaRio 2 folder.
The system will ask you if you want to replace the existing
Documents folder.
5. Click Yes to replace the files.
To uninstall the application
1. Click Start on the Windows® taskbar, then select
Settings|Control Panel. The Control Panel dialog box appears.
2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon, as shown on the
left.
3. Select GalaRio 2 and click the Change/Remove button in
Windows® NT/2000 or the Add/Remove button in Windows® 98.
The Install Shield wizard launches the GalaRio Uninstall program.
Hint! If you are installing an earlier version of the GalaRio™
application, simply select the application name from the
program list, and the uninstall program will remove all the
components automatically.
4. Select Uninstall GalaRio and click Start. The Confirm File
Deletion dialog box appears.
